After almost 30 years in this wonderful Fragrance and Flavor ingredient industry,

Alain Frix decided to create Allchemix bv.

Long commercial experience, strong business friendships, passion for this industry,

and out-of-the box mindset are Allchemix's strengths to connect the questions with their solutions. 

 

Alain has a outstanding expertise in renewable materials, especially aroma chemicals derived from Pine trees (terpenes) . His quest to understand other ingredients led him to progressively build an extensive worldwide network of producers, processors, traders, scientific and regulatory experts and hundreds of perfumery, flavour and feed compounders.

Active in various industry organisations, Alain has spent a vast amount of time supporting the industry, in particular IFEAT (The International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades), one of the industry's biggest associations, which he chaired for several years.

​

Inquisitive and determined to better understand our complex F&F world, Alain has travelled to many remote places to learn how raw materials are being produced, and meet the people extracting them.

​
